Workforce Development Opportunity
Hi everyone!
Earlier this month, I got in contact with an Alex Brickner--he's working at a lab associated with UMass Lowell. He's looking at setting up a workforce development program that pulls underserved students (he's connecting with the Society of Women Engineers and the National Society of Black Engineers) into a program and internship track that's some mix of cybersecurity, grid infrastructure, and engineering. He's already connected with ENE and MMWEC and might get $50-200k from MassCEC for the grant. (It was a verbal commitment, so grain of salt.) I've attached some proposal documents for his grant application.
