Artwork on Transformers
Shrewsbury just received a grant to reviatlize the Town Center area. Part of the discussion that just came up was facilitating public art. One idea was to use pad mount transformers for this. There are definitely other communities where this is happening, but I'm wondering if any of our fellow MEAMers have any art on transformers. Is anyone allowing this currently?

We've been contacted recently by a regional artist for just such a project. I'll let our GM's insightful response speak for itself - attached here. We probably won't support a permanent display on our equipment like this. But I have seen some wonderful seasonal temporary displays using the decorative lampposts in downtowns. Anybody ever get to Essex, CT? They have a Halloween celebration and amazing display every year worth seeing.
